Greenland is experiencing tremendous change in these years. The society is facing great prospects but also possible stagnation – highly depending on the possible business futures in the Arctic area. The Bank of Greenland is central in these business landscape. What are the key trends and uncertainties for the bank in the years to come, what challenges are to be faced, and hence, what resilient business strategies will be identified? These questions were addressed by the Bank’s management team and executive board in strategy development process focused on scenario planning facilitated by LinKS in 2013.
Bank of Greenland CEO Martin Kviesgaard says: “Working with LinKS on scenario planning provided us with both new insights, a solid ground on how to meet the possible business futures of the bank as well as a systematic approach to strategy development and, as such, a tool for the future change management processes in the organisation.”
