Founder

Mette Laursen is the founder of LinKS, orchestrating alliances of top executives, board members (NEDs) and political leaders across sectors within global education, business development and investments. Throughout 20 years LinKS has been paving the way with Scandinavian decisionmakers to improve ourselves in governance, strategy, leadership and innovation – in strong alliances with the world’s leading business schools i.e. INSEAD and The Wharton School. LinKS represents a trusted network of more than 1500 individuals and organisations.

Global Challenges

Mette Laursen has spent her life in global settings and is serving and advising in positions across the world. She served as chair in various businesses, ventures, organisations and institutions i.e. The Cartier Womens Initiative Award, Truelinked, the world’s leading digital casting platform for classical music, cultural institutions i.e. Betty Nansen Theatre, humanitarian organisations and the Danish Royal House Foundation.
Latest announcement is the position as Ambassador for BLOX as a global destination, supported by Realdania.

Background

Educational background is within Economics with a Master of Science in Econometrics from University of London and studied through scholarships at numerous global universities. Career started in The Ministry of Finance, Denmark, followed by a serving as part of the executive team at Ernst&Young Management Consulting, Copenhagen, advising Scandinavian and global organisations on strategy.
